July's Wish List Highlight! - The King of Kongs!
Kong Balls and other interactive dog toys can provide hours of entertainment for dogs. These toys can be stuffed with treats, frozen, and are strong enough to be chewed upon for hours. These types of toys are especially beneficial to help keep shelter dogs happy by keeping them thinking (and chewing) to figure out how to remove the taste treats that hidden within. The trick to keep a dog happy is to provide physical exercise, affection and keeping their minds working. At times mental exercise can make a dog just as tired as a walk. Taking a few hours to chew, flip and toss a Kong ball to get the treats out will help ensure PARL has happy pooches throughout the day.

Why Does PARL Need A Wish List?
The Providence Animal Rescue League relies on generous donations of goods to help us care for the thousands of animals who come to us every year. While monetary donations allow us to help the animals where it is needed most, physical items are always needed too. From cans of cat food to office equipment, every item donated helps us to save much needed funds that can be invested back into our animal care and programs.
