-- Friday, August 22 -- The Providence Roller Derby features "Mai Tais & Thigh Highs" with the Old Money Honeys vs. Sakonnet River Rats. Bout from 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm; doors open at 7pm (Rain date: Sunday august 24th, 5pm doors open 6pm bout starts). This event will feature a 50/50 raffle benefiting PARL and will have a PARL donation box available. Location: Bank of America Skating Center - Downtown Providence, 2 Kennedy Plaza, Providence, RI. -- Saturday, September 13 -- Join us for the 20th Annual Pet Walk Rhode Island fundraiser at Roger Williams Park's Temple To Music. Pet Walk benefits our ongoing efforts to rescue and rehome homeless animals across New England! Pet Walk features a fun walk for you and your dog through Roger Williams Park. In addition, you can: shop & visit with exhibitors, see obedience demonstrations, try your luck with our raffle, play pet games, and learn about pet care. This year, PARL is partnering with the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association to launch their first annual Walk and Wag pet health program. |
