Vaccines

Deposit
A $25 deposit is required within a week of the time the appointment is made. The deposit can be in the form of a money order, check, or charge. If we do not receive a deposit within the time allotted your appointment will be cancelled and you will need to reschedule. We require 48 hours cancellation notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours will not receive a refund on the deposit. Payment must be received at the time of intake (cash, check or charge). If booking three or more cats on one day, the full non-refundable payment must be paid in advance when booking the appointment.
Important - READ ME!
- The Providence Animal Rescue does not provide any post-operative care. Any and all post-operative care required will be at the owner’s expense with a veterinarian of the owner’s choice.
- Pets should not have access to food or after 9:00 pm the night before surgery.
- Kittens may be fed the night before surgery, but not on the morning of surgery.
- Drop off for surgery at our shelter is between 8:00 and 8:15 am, and pick up is at 3:00 p.m. Other pick up arrangements must be made in advance.
- The legal owner of the pet must drop the animal off and sign release paperwork allowing the Providence Animal Rescue League to examine and perform surgery.
- All cats must be brought in individual plastic carriers -- please be sure carrier is clean and has a clean towel in the bottom. (Appropriate carriers are available for purchase at PARL.)
- For dog drop-offs, please enter the shelter first, check in, and we'll let you know when to bring your dog inside. All dogs must be brought inside using a secure leash and collar.
- No nursing or lactating mothers.
- All animals will be tattooed at the time of surgery to indicate that your pet has been spayed/neutered.
