PAWS 🐾 AND LISTEN MUSIC FESTIVAL

Bigger Beast Records and Providence Animal Rescue League are thrilled to announce a heartwarming new event that brings together music, storytelling, and animal rescue like never before!

This unique initiative pairs nine singer-songwriters with nine rescued animals at PARL. Each artist will:

🐶  Meet & bond with an adoptable pet in need of a home.
🎵  Write & perform a song inspired by their chosen animal.
📱  Share their journey on social media to help them get adopted.

The Grand Finale – A Festival with Purpose!

The Paws and Listen Music Festival, headlined by Lee DeWyze, will feature performances from all nine artists, honoring the animals and the families who adopted them. Artists will perform their inspired song, along with a few other originals each set.

This duo came to PARL significantly overweight and have since embarked on a serious health journey together. At 10 years old, Nina is still full of puppy-like joy—always ready for a walk or cuddle. Her daughter Chiquiya, age 4, is more cautious at first, but blossoms with love and patience. These two are inseparable, leaning on each other for strength, comfort, and confidence.

RUMBLES
Rumbles is a tiny survivor with a huge heart. Found alone in a local park, this little guy was scared and underweight, but thanks to some amazing community members and his loving foster home, he’s made incredible progress. Rumbles now spends his days burrowing in hay, accepting treats by hand, and—when the mood strikes—zooming and popcorning with joy during playtime!

Motley is a joyful, big-hearted bunny who greets every visitor with enthusiasm—perching up on his pen and gently presenting his head for well-deserved pets. Almost five years young, Motley is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home filled with tunnels, stacking cups, hay loops, and at least three snuggle sessions a day (his non-negotiable!).
While he's still polishing up his litterbox skills, he’s well on his way to being an amazing free-roam bun with a little patience and love.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where will the event be held?

The Guild will be hosting our Paws and Listen Music Festival in their large, paved courtyard. Sightlines are sure to be great from every angle! However, seating is limited and not guaranteed, so please feel free to bring a blanket or a lawn chair — whatever makes you comfortable!

What is the rain date for the event?

Due to the many constraints of the artists' schedules, there is no rain date for this event.

In the event of inclement weather, we will move the main stage into The Barn at The Guild. This is a smaller space and seating will be very limited.

Please note that our roster of musicians may be subject to change in the event of inclement weather. 

Will there be refreshments/food available?

The Guild is a popular brewery and beer will be available for purchase at the main bar.

The option of wine and complimentary small bites will be available to VIP ticket holders only. Each VIP ticket also includes 1 complimentary drink ticket.

Bring some extra spending money as there will be food trucks and other vendors on-site.

How long is each artist's set?

Each artist's set includes a handful of originals and their special song written for the Festival. Artists will perform in a round, with three artists on stage at a time.  

We anticipate that our headliner, Lee DeWyze will take the stage between 7:45pm-8:15pm for an hour-long set.
